J. Scott Spradling
Theatre Director
Mr. Spradling graduated from Ohio University with a BA in Theatre with emphasis on acting and playwriting. He spent 20+ years in the film and tv industry as a SAG actor and also has several regional theatre credits to his name. He spent 10 years as a private acting coach to a variety of working actors before coming to William S Hart School District.
Zac Westbrook
Technical Theatre Coach
Mr. Westbrook has been actively engaged in the performing arts community throughout the Santa Clarita Valley. Beginning as a performer in high school, he expanded his expertise by working within various aspects of entertainment production. Now, he is contributing to the growth of the live entertainment scene in SCV and is excited to assist West Ranch Theatre.
Karen Hillhouse
Costuming Coach and Wardrobe Manager
Karen Hillhouse graduated from California Lutheran University with B.A.’s in Theatre Arts and Psychology. She has worked in regional theaters in the greater Los Angeles’ area as an actor, director and designer for many years. She also has worked in the film industry as a producer, director and editor. She is happy to have joined the WRT creative team.
Jennifer Teague
Music Director and Vocal Coach
Jennifer grew up an orchestra kid with a degree in Violin Performance and a full time piano, violin, voice teacher. In 2017 she moved to LA and became the director of Youth Programs at the Canyon Theatre Guild in Newhall. There she vocal directed and directed several productions featuring children of all ages. Main stage vocal/directorial productions include “Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical,” “In the Heights,” “Little Women: The Musical,” “Matilda,” and “Newsies!” among others. Musical Theatre holds her heart, and she is beyond excited to work with the amazing young thespians at West Ranch Theatre!
Ella Kliewer
Choreographer and Movement Coach
Ella has danced and choreographed with Studio 1 Dance Academy for the past 14 years and is a West Ranch Theatre Alumni. She has years of experience in Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, and Hiphop. She has always had a passion for the arts and knows the importance of telling a story not only with words but also through movement and dance! She truly loves working with all of the students at West Ranch Theatre!
